Mad Spuds Cafe

I frequented this place the first few weeks we lived here when we didn’t have internet and I needed a good space to work with great chai lattes. It definitely is that during the quieter week days, but come the weekend – this place is PACKED! 

McKay and I came here one Saturday morning for brunch and were quite pleased with what we found. DELICIOUS food with friendly staff and a fun, yet relaxing atmosphere.

McKay had the Spanish Egg with Sausage ($13) – poached eggs, tomato sauce, olives, basil, spiced pork sausage and yummy sourdough bread.


I had the Mad Spud Stack ($14) – Crunchy Potato cakes with grilled halloumi, avocado, carmalized onion, potato skins and mint yoghurt.
