Gorgeous new addition to the Surry Hills Cafe scene. Similar to it’s sister cafe, Reuben Hills, The Paramount has been beautifully decorated in minimal, hipster decor. The outdoor communal table was hot spot for dog-owners and dog-lovers alike when we popped in this weekend for Sunday brunch.
Tip – get there early. We had no wait at 9:30AM, but there was a bit of a queue when we were leaving at 10:30ish
Only complaint: They offer the option to add “McClures Potato Crisps and Dill Pickles” for $3 extra. Please note that this is a bit misleading. The Crisps might be McClures (our favourite pickle brand), but the Dill Pickles are not McClures – they are some weird, limp looking, slightly sweet pickles that are not worth the extra $3.
